Reflexology

Working on the feet and/or hands for health, wellbeing and relaxation

Reflexology is a form of massage and accupressure working on the reflexes of the feet and/or hands.

The entire body and all its organs and tissues are linked to these reflexes and so a whole body treatment can be given by working just on the feet.

A reflexology treatment is incredibly relaxing and can aid the body in its own natural healing process.

Reflexology can also support people who suffer from musculoskeletal issues such as joint problems and back pain.

A full reflexology treatment takes an hour, but half hour sessions are also available.

Reflexology is also highly beneficial for those trying to conceive, and can be used to prime a pregnant lady ready for labour once the due date has passed.

Kiera is also trained in Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage

Sound Therapy

Indian Head Massage

A seated massage working on the back, shoulders, neck, head and face

Hopi Ear Candles

A gentle treatment, finshing with a facial to aid sinus drainage and relaxation

A deeply relaxing treatment that can help to balance body, mind and spirit.

Sound therapy works by bringing your body, mind and spirit back 'into tune' and into harmony.

Treatments are offered for half an hour or an hour depending upon your need and preference.

Treatments can also be combined with positive affirmations for chakra balancing and general wellbeing.

Sound therapy is particularly good for people who suffer with stress, insomnia, back pain, headaches, depression, arthritis, muscular pain; or simply to enable deep relaxation, and also helps with chakra balancing.

Treaments are available for individuals or for a group sound bath, contact Kiera for more details.

Indian Head Massage is a form of gentle massage, which is carried out through clothing and whilst seated in a chair.

The massage is carried out on the back, shoulders, arms, neck, head and face, finishing with a chakra balancing technique with healing energy.

It is a fantastic treatment for easing stress and tension and people leave feeling deeply relaxed and cared for.

It is particularly good for people who suffer from muscular tension to the upper back, neck and shoulders or jaw, or for those who suffer from headaches, migraines, sinusitis, insomnia or stress of any kind.

It is always advisable to drink plenty of water following a treatment, as this can help the process of detoxification and aid the repair and rejuvenation of your tissues and digestive system.

This treatment involves the use of a pair of 'candles' made from organic cotton, beeswax, honey, chamomile and St John's Wort.

The client will feel gentle heat from the candles and may hear a 'crackling' sound which some have likened to the sound of sparklers. The candles create a gentle 'vacuum' effect which helps to shift any debris from the inner ear, and to aid sinus drainage.

Each ear takes about 12 minutes or so, then the treatment ends with a relaxing facial. The facial helps to stimulate sinus drainage  and circulation and to ease tension.

This treatment is effective for those who have sinus trouble, a build up of wax in the ear, stress, tinnitus, headaches or vertigo.

A Hopi ear candle treatment cannot be given if you currently have an ear infection or perforated ear drum.
